She’s currently working on a Gothic novel set in evangelical America, and a horror-comedy feature-length screenplay about a road trip, a breakup, and homicidal women bonding in dive bars.It's the holiday season, and the light of the street lamps are dim in the thick snow that blankets the city. She’s a proud member of The Writers Union of Canada (TWUC), and co-host of the Speakeasy Reading Series. She is an MFA candidate and course instructor in Creative Writing at the University of Guelph. In 2022, Parkdale Haunt received two Canadian Podcast Awards: Outstanding Production for a Series and the People’s Choice Award.Įmily holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Book and Media Studies, English, and Philosophy with Distinction from the University of Toronto. Emily is the co-creator and co-writer of horror fiction podcast, Parkdale Haunt. In 2018, she was named one of three finalists for the carte blanche/Creative Nonfiction Collective Society prize. Her writing has appeared in publications such as The Globe and Mail, The Wall Street Journal, The Humber Literary Review, Canthius, The Minola Review, and Room Magazine. Emily Kellogg is an award-winning Canadian-American writer, editor, educator, voice actor, and veteran book publishing professional currently based in Toronto, Ontario.
